The mission of the Medible Learning Garden is to promote health and wellness in our North Philadelphia neighborhood.

We provide direct access to sustainably-grown food and act as a tool to educate student health professionals and local community members about the healing properties of the medicinal and edible plants that we grow. We offer educational programming and can tailor sessions to meet the needs of a particular group.

Much of our harvest is given out to students and local community members who pass by the garden. We also make weekly donations to the Zion Baptist Church, located across the street from the garden, which in turn distributes to the homeless at their food pantry.

If you are interested in setting up an educational session or would like to get involved as a volunteer or make a donation, please contact us for further information.
